Registering WM Keeper WebPro in Opera

WM Keeper WebPro (Light) can be only registered by users who already have a registered WMID (account) in the WebMoney system.

To create new purses in WM Keeper WebPro (Light) (creating a new WMID and associating it with your certificate), you need to complete the re-registration procedure.

This process in browser Opera consists of the following steps:

1 Go to Bring up the contextual menu (by right-clicking) and select "Edit site preferences".

2 In the "Network" tab select the "Mask as Mozilla" option. Close the page.

3 On the registration service site, click "Re-registration" (in the top right corner of the window) and log in using the WM Keeper you usually use to manage your previously registred WMID.

You will then need to click the "Choose" button in the WM Keeper WebPro section.

From the list of suggested software for managing WM-purses select the following:

Registering WM Keeper WebPro (authentication with the help of digital certificate).

4 Enter your password and click the "Sign Up" button.

5 After installation of the certificate, you will be assigned a WM identifier required for logging on to the system. Be sure to remember your WMID, or better still, write it down.

6 To install the certificate to your storage, click the "Install this certificate" link. Agree to install the certificate to the storage,

and also set (if you have not done so previously) a master password to protect your certificates.

Click “Start”. Click “OK” to confirm.

Then you will be prompted to backup your digital certificate. Click “Start”

7 Choose "Certificate x.509" as the authorization method and click the "Login" button. In the window requesting the certificate, select your WMID. Click the "OK" button.

To launch WM Keeper WebPro (Light) again, you can use the "Login to Keeper WebPro" link on the main page of the site at

Attention! After the next reinstallation of the browser or operating system, you will lose your personal digital certificate and you will not be able to access the purse management page. To avoid such problems and protect your WM Keeper WebPro (Light) from unauthorized usage, we recommend to export the certificate from the certificate storage to the local computer, create a backup copy of the certificate and re-install it to the storage in accordance with our recommendations. You can find more details on how to correctly save this certificate as a file and then re-install this certificate back to the system in this special instruction

Another important note! When importing the saved personal certificate in Opera using the standard window, go to: Tools -> Preferences -> Advanced -> Security -> Manage certificates. The browser may start to hang and the certificate will not be imported. But if you choose "File"-> "Open" in Opera and select the saved certificate on your disk, then it will be successfully imported.
(Do not forget to select the "All files" option in the "File Types" list of the "Open" window to see the saved certificate on the disk).

Tested on Opera versions 9.60 - 9.64
