The requirements of documents confirming the residential address for WMZ and WME top up and withdrawal service users

1. Utility bills

We accept utility bills for water, gas, electricity and landline phone.

  • The document`s date of issue should be no older than 6 months;
  • The document should include your full name and your current address;
  • The document`s content should be written in Latin characters or in Cyrillic or you should provide a certified translation of the document into Russian OR English. If you provide a certified translation, the original document must meet the requirements of a utility bill.

WE DO NOT ACCEPT: handwritten documents, mobile phone bills, bills for the Internet and TV.

2. Current account bank statements or a letter of reference

An official bank letter confirming the opening of your current account. The document must be in colour, sent to your postal address or received by you personally in a bank branch and verified with a bank stamp and a signature of the bank`s representative;
Or
An electronic bank statement from your online banking account, and complying with the following:

  • The http link is shown clearly;
  • The date of issue of the document should be no older than 6 months;
  • The document should include your full name and your current address;
  • The document`s content should be written in Latin characters or in Cyrillic or you should provide a certified translation of the document into Russian OR English. If you provide a certified translation, the original document must meet the requirements of a bank statement or a letter of reference.

WE DO NOT ACCEPT: handwritten documents credit card statements, payment orders and savings books.

3. Certificate of registration at a place of residence issued by a statutory authority

  • Registration certificates issued by the civil registry or a local government;
    Examples of the acceptable documents: Meldebestaetigung, Meldebescheinigung, Certificate of registration at the place of residence No 9 issued by MFC or the District Passport Office.
  • Copy of the document should be in colour;
  • The document received by you personally, stamped and signed by an authorised representative;
  • The document`s date of issue should be no older than 6 months;
  • The document should include your full name and your current address;
  • The document`s content should be written in Latin characters or in Cyrillic or you should provide a certified translation of the document into Russian OR English.

WE DO NOT ACCEPT handwritten documents and documents which do not present evidence of their authenticity and signs of certification.

4. Correspondence from a central or local government authority, department or agency

  • A scanned copy dated within the last 3-6 months, showing your name and residential address;
  • The document`s content should be written in Latin characters or in Cyrillic or you should provide a certified translation of the document into Russian OR English.

WE DO NOT ACCEPT: handwritten documents, expired and documents not showing the relevant information or source of issue.
