Restoring access

Login password and Key file authentication for WM Keeper WinPro (Classic) and certificate files (pfx or p12, for WM Keeper WebPro (Light)), as well as E-num authorization, is one of the main WebMoney Transfer security features for controlling access to your WMID. If for whatever reason you have lost access to your WM Keeper WinPro (Classic) or WM Keeper WebPro (Light) purses and you do not have these files (or have forgotten the password for them or forgotten the WM Keeper WinPro login password ), you should go through the procedure for restoring access (see the following article with a detailed description of "difficulties logging on to WM Keeper Сlassic".

The restoration method is different for every case, therefore you will learn what you have to do only during the procedure. The procedure's complexity depends mostly on whether you have entered the correct data, on the passport type, and on the balance of the purses of the WMID to which control has been lost.

Briefly, your actions are as follows:

  1. Go to the website.
  2. Follow the instructions.

In most cases, the restoration procedure is performed online and is completed by e-mailing you a newly generated key. However, you should be ready to be asked to register again (or use another available WMID) or send a notarized application by mail (or bring it to the Verification Center office in person). Attention!Please note that if you have lost access to the email address you provided during the registration of the lost WMID, you can restore access to it only if one of the following conditions is met:

  1. You recover your password to access the email
  2. If you cannot recover access to your email, you must submit an Email Update Application to the Verification Center. This application must be submitted in person. Thus you have to come to the verification center with this application and an identity document. If you cannot come to the verification center, you must sign your application and certify your signature before a notary public. Then mail the original application to the verification center (look for a postal address at Applications are processed within ten (10) working days after they are received. Be careful when handling your keys (*.kwm, *.pfx), back up and store them on reliable removable media (for example, on a CD or a Flash memory card).
