WebMoney Login

WebMoney Login authorization service is designed for authenticating WebMoney Transfer users both on WebMoney Transfer web-sites and web-sites of its users.

The authorization service employs the concept of the temporary (session) password, which is valid only while the user session exists and is called an authorization ticket.
Each time a user logs into a site, the service issues an authorization ticket to the user and transfers site parameters and other options to the page of the web-site that has requested authorization. The page that has received user information verifies the ticket and performs required actions, for example – grants access to closed resources.

The services supports the following WebMoney Transfer user authentication methods:

A common user gets the following options:

  1. To control the creation and expiration time of authorization tickets, and also the names of web-sites to which they were issued and IP-addresses of authorized users (see section Active logins);
  2. To configure login settings for WM Keeper (see section User settings)
    • IP – authorizes only allowed IP-addresses with enabled IP Blocking option.
    • Online – authorizes only when WM Keeper is Online.

For developers and Web-masters the service gives a possibility to install authorization system on their web-site without connecting and setting up cryptographic libraries. The service allows configuring the following authorization settings for a web-site:

  1. Name of the web-site, allowed authentication methods;
  2. Addresses of pages, where tickets will be verified;
  3. The list of active authorization tickets, and also login history on the web-site;
  4. The list of trusted web-sites;
  5. Password and encryption key settings.
