If you are an author of shareware applications then this service is exactly for you. Its primary purpose is to help authors of shareware who want to work with WebMoney Transfer payment system. By working with Software Activation service (SAS) authors will not have third-parties in payments and what is more important the installation file, key or registration code is delivered instantly after the payment.

What does WebMoney Transfer SAS offer?
The method offered by WebMoney Transfer replaces HardwareID with a unique ID for a WebMoney Transfer user. This ID consists of the authentication data of system user and product code. Such ID is called KeeperID. The user can always get this ID under the condition that WM Keeper is installed on the computer (version not older that 2.2.0.5) and the user has made a purchase with WebMoney ID = WMID. During a purchase the registration code or key is attached to the client software with the help the article was bought, i.e. from which wmid the purchase was made.

Actions of software authors:
1. Register with SAS.
2. Add description and activation policy for software registration code to the database.
Also there are such functions as:

• The number of activation attempts, it is possible to increase this number after the limit expires. If this parameter is present, then the user is limited to a certain amount of activation attempts, for example 4. So the user can use the software at home, at work, at summer house and if the user decides to reinstall the software then the limit for activation attempts will expire. To increase it, the user will have to contact the author of the application and request to increase the number of activation attempts and specify the reason for this.;
• Black list. This function gives the author a possibility to add wmids of suspicious users to the black list. It will not be possible for those users to activate the software by entering the code.

How to protect the software?
If your applications are created using Microsoft Visual C++, Borland C++ Builder or Borland Delphi language, then you can use HardKey System application for protecting your software. This application has a built-in option to use SAS. The users whose developments are protected with the help of ASProtect, the service suggests using such utilities as ASPR2SAS and SDK.

More details on service usage
The service does not charge any fee from its participants. Users can register and login to the service by authorizing at the web-site with the help of WM Keeper. After the first authorization the web-site will display the registration form, and registration demo video.
There are two methods for registering your products with the service:

• HardKey Manager (if the author uses HardKey System for verifying registration data, then he/she will be offered to specify the name of the product and the number of activations);
• ASPR2SAS Utility (for this the author will have to launch ASPR2SAS Utility and download files with .aspr extension from ASProtect project).
