Logging in to sites using WebMoney Keeper Classic

WM Keeper Classic can be used as a user-friendly tool for logging in to the sites supporting WM authentication.

These sites can receive WMID from users either independently using a special ActiveX (wmacceptor.dll) and the script at the site login page (all wm sites before January 2008) or using the Authorization service.

Beginning with version 3.6.0.0, site login is available for all browsers (previously, ActiveX support was required), though another restriction was introduced: only one software instance (the first started instance) can be used to log in to sites. By the way, 99.9% users may not even notice this restriction.

This restriction was somewhat inconvenient for those who needed to use multiple WMIDs at a time.

That’s why, version 3.6.0.1 introduced a capability enabling “switching” the software instance with required WMID to site login mode.

The procedure is quite easy:
Find Keeper icon with the required WMID in the system tray.
Right-click the icon.
In the displayed menu, enable “Log in to the site as WMID …”.

P.S.
The Keepers you can’t use to log in to the sites have less colorful icons in the system tray
