Questions about WM Keeper Light

How to transfer the certificate to another computer?

When registering WM Keeper Light WebMoney Transfer warns you that you must export the certificate to file. If you have such a file (with extension ∗.pfx or ∗.p12 ), then you need to install it on new computer.
If you have access to purses, it means your browser has the corresponding personal certificate. The certificate can be exported and saved to file.
If you do not have the specified file, then you can create it by using the Light key export procedure.

After system re-installation (or replacement of computer), you will have to install this certificate from the file. The description of this process you can find in Light key import procedure.

Though, there can appear the following difficulties:

  1. You have installed your certificate to the browser without a possibility to export it later. This option is mentioned during the certificate import process. In such case it is impossible to export the certificate. We recommend registering a new WMID and transfer funds to its purses.
  2. Be attentive, during certificate export you are promted to set up and specify password. If you forget it, we will not be able to help you to retrieve the certificate from the file. This password is similar to password for archive, it has nothing to do with WebMoney Transfer and we do not know it.

If you have forgotten the password to the file, you need to go through Restoring access procedure.

Cannot create purse in WM Keeper Light

Make sure that you haven’t forgotten to specify purse name.

The first thing you need to do is to check whether pop-ups are enabled in your browser and whether new pages open in new window.

If the process stops on the step for setting up purse name, this means that Java scripting is disabled or is incorrectly configured.

If you have already accepted the notification about purse service, but the purse has not appeared, do not be surprised. WM Keeper Light runs in browser window, you need to update the data by clicking the “Refresh” button.

light.wmtransfer.com is not accessible

If, when navigating to https://light.wmtransfer.com, instead of your purses you see message “To access LIGHT.WMTRANSFER.COM you need a client certificate”, then the instruction provided below is not for you. It means that you do not have a personal passport – read the information provided there to know how to get one.

For a start, check whether HTTPS protocol is enabled in your browser. Go to https://www.microsoft.com.

If the link does not open, it means there is a problem either in the settings of your browser, or Port 443 is closed, which is required for HTTPS connection.

Check the recommendations for configuring Internet Explorer.

If you have applied recommended settings and it did not help, contact your provider (system administrator). Find out, whether Port 443 is actually closed and ask to open it.

If https://www.microsoft.com opens, and https://light.wmtransfer.com – does not open, do the following:
1) Check the settings of Internet Explorer with the ones specified above.
2) Re-install WebMoney Transfer root certificate.

If the problem remains, contact Technical Support.
