Changing registration data

In accordance with the Provision 5.1.b of the Agreement on Property Rights Transfer by Means of Digital Units each user of WebMoney Transfer undertakes the obligation to “provide true identification data during the registration with WEBMONEY TRANSFER System”. That is why after registering in the system the user cannot change independently some of his/her registration data, for example surname, name or patronymic name.

Without additional conditions the user might be allowed to change fictitious (intentionally corrupted) data only if:

during work in the system the user didn’t accept title units from other system users or transfer title units to other system users;

it is necessary to change the data specified in other language (for example Ivan Ivanov instead of Иван Иванов);

it is necessary to change the data specified with a mistake (for example with a dropped/misspelled letter);

If the conditions specified above are met, the administrator of the verification center changes this data after receiving the corresponding request via internal WM-mail of the owner of WM-identifier.

If during the work in the system the user either accepted or transferred title units to other system users, and also in other cases not specified in sections 1-3 of the present Rules then the user might be allowed to change fictitious (intentionally corrupted) data after submitting the corresponding request. To receive the request form the user needs to:

  • register in the system again or use another WM-identifier that belongs to him/her;
  • request the personal passport via the verification center to the newly registered WM-identifier (only in the case if the personal passport was not received earlier);
  • get the blank of “Request from legal person for changing registration data of WebMoney Transfer system user” at the web-site the form , print this blank and fill it in strictly according to the specified rules (specified in the appendix to the application);
  • notarize your signature on this application;
  • deliver the “Request from legal person for changing registration data of WebMoney Transfer system user” to the verification center in person or post it via registered mail (without declared value);

The applicant must have the control over the WM-identifier with fictitious (intentionally corrupted) data.

To speed up the process of changing fictitious (intentionally corrupted) data (in the case when the applicant doesn’t have personal passport) the owner of the WM-identifier can fill in, notarize and provide two applications to the verification center: for receiving the passport and changing registration data.

After the administrator verifies the provided notarized documents, the personal passport will be issued to the owner of WM-identifier for the newly registered WM-identifier and after that the application for changing the registration data will be considered.

The results of the “Request from legal person for changing registration data of WebMoney Transfer system user” application will be sent to the applicant via internal WM-mail. In the case of the positive decision the WM-identifier with the fictitious (intentionally corrupted) data will be added to the WM-identifier with the personal passport. The term for considering such applications is from 25 days from the moment the administrator of the verification center receives the application.
