Mentor

The Mentor service is designed to manage tasks performed by WebMoney Transfer members.

The way the service works is quite simple: a Customer creates a task to be performed by an Executor and appoints an Inspector who is to verify task performance and check the task off when performed. For each task a Customer may define the amount to be paid to the Executor and the Inspector after the task is performed.

Every task has a Customer, an Executor, and an Inspector. The Customer creates a task (defines the task scope, deadline, and, if necessary, the payment amount), and appoints the Executor and the Inspector. After the task is performed the Inspector verifies the quality of the work done and checks the task off as performed. If the task includes payment, the Executor and the Inspector receive the amounts due them from the Customer’s purse after the task is performed.

The Customer may appoint somebody as an Executor or an Inspector only if that person is a WebMoney Transfer member that has given the Customer permission to make such appointments. The Customer may also attach one or more Observers to the task; they can monitor task completion and participate in the discussion process by adding their comments.

Service Usage

1 Creating the Task
To create a new task, the Customer may use the Mentor service web interface (Tasks section, Add item) or the WM Keeper WinPro menu (open the contextual menu for the Executor’s WMID and select Webmoney.Mentor->Add task). In the window that you see, enter the task name, deadline, and detailed description, then choose the executor and the inspector. If the Customer intends to evaluate the Executor’s work results themselves, the Customer can appoint themselves as an inspector by checking the I box.

The Customer must define the payment amount for the Executor and the Inspector and specify the purse from which these amounts are to be transferred.

After clicking Save, the Executor and the Inspector receive internal service mail messages about the assigned task.

Upon receiving the task message, the Executor and the Inspector must accept the conditions by clicking "Accept" and specifying the purse which will receive the funds. If they accept the conditions the funds are transferred with a protection code.

2 Performing the Task
Current tasks that are created, monitored, or performed by a user who can be kept track of either on the service site or in Mentor.Webmoney->My Tasks (or Upcoming tasks) Keeper menu. Users with multiple tasks may prefer the user-friendly contextual menu in the Correspondents tab (Webmoney.Mentor->Task list) where you can view tasks for a specific WMID.

You can provide comments about task progress on the detailed description page.

The task is considered to be performed after the inspector checks the task as performed (Confirm performance button in the controlled task detailed description window).

3 Receiving Payment
Upon closing, the service automatically completes the code-protected transactions, transferring the due amounts to the Executor and the Inspector.

4 Non-fulfillment of the Task in Due Time
If the task is not fulfilled in due time, funds are returned automatically.
