Changing registration data

In accordance with Provision 5.1.b of the Agreement on Property Rights Transfer by Means of Digital Units each user of WebMoney Transfer undertakes to "provide true identification data during registration on the WEBMONEY TRANSFER System." That is why after registering on the system, the user cannot independently change some of their registration information, for example, surname, name or patronymic name.

Without additional conditions, a user MIGHT be allowed to change fictitious (intentionally falsified) information only if:

1 during their use of the system, the user HAS NOT accepted title units from other system users and HAS NOT transferred title units to other system users;

2 it is necessary to change a first/last name specified in another language (for example, "Ivan Ivanov" instead of "Иван Иванов");

3 it is necessary to change a first/last name containing a minor mistake (for example, a missing letter).

If the conditions specified above are met, the administrator of the verification center will change this data after receiving the corresponding request via internal WM mail from the owner of the WM identifier.

If, at some point after registration, the user HAS either accepted or transferred title units to other system users, and also in other cases not specified in sections 1-3 of these Rules, then the user MIGHT be allowed to change fictitious (intentionally falsified) information after submitting the corresponding request. To receive the request form, the user needs to:

  • register in the system again or use another WM identifier that belongs to them;
  • request a personal passport via the verification centre for the newly registered WM identifier (only if a personal passport has not been previously received);
  • get the form "Request by a natural person to change WebMoney Transfer system user registration information" at the website, print it out and fill it in strictly according to the rules (listed in the appendix to the application);
  • notarize your signature on this application;
  • deliver the "Request by a natural person to change WebMoney Transfer system user registration information" to the verification centre in person or send it via registered mail (without a declared value).

The applicant must have control over the WM identifier with fictitious (intentionally falsified) information.

To speed up the process of changing fictitious (intentionally falsified) information (when the applicant does not have a personal passport), the owner of the WM identifier can fill in, notarize and provide two applications to the verification centre: one for receiving the passport and one for changing registration information.

After the administrator verifies the provided notarized documents, a personal passport will be issued to the owner of the WM identifier for the newly registered WM identifier, and after that the application for changing the registration information will be considered.

The decision for the "Request by a natural person to change WebMoney Transfer system user registration information" will be sent to the applicant via internal WM mail. In the case of a positive decision,- the WM identifier with the fictitious (intentionally falsified) data will be added to the WM identifier with the personal passport. The time needed for the consideration of such applications is at least 25 days from the moment that the administrator of the verification centre receives the application.

One of the items in the "Request by a natural person to change WebMoney Transfer system user registration information" is:

3. Using a registration with inaccurate information, has carried out the following transactions for the receipt of title units from WebMoney Transfer system users (indicate for each payment the reason for receipt and the sender's details, sufficient so that the Verification Centre may quickly verify them).
